The 1969 Reserva Tinto from Viúva Gomes comes from Colares on Portugal's Atlantic coast. The vines grow in deep sandy soils near the sea, which have always protected them from phylloxera and ensure the preservation of ungrafted plantings. Viúva Gomes is one of the most important guardians of the Colares tradition.

Aroma & Taste

Colares wines are known for their longevity; despite their age, this wine displays a remarkably dark, barely developed color with a slight brick hue at the rim. Aromatically, it exhibits a mature complexity, with notes of cedar and leather alongside dried fruit and a eucalyptus-like freshness.
