Origin:

The Egon Müller-Scharzhof winery in Wiltingen on the Saar is one of the world's most legendary Riesling estates. Owned by the Müller family since 1797, it is now managed by Egon Müller IV, the 8th generation. The heart of the estate is the Scharzhofberg , one of Germany's most famous vineyards and internationally synonymous with great Rieslings. The south-facing, barren Devonian slate soils retain warmth while simultaneously producing an incomparable mineral tension.
