Origin:

The Gabel winery in Herxheim am Berg looks back on over 350 years of family history . Wines have been produced here since 1655, and today it is run by Oliver Gabel, the 13th generation. After formative years of training in Burgundy, Baden, and at top wineries in the Palatinate region, his focus is clearly on Burgundy varieties, which now account for around 70% of the vineyard area. Since the 1980s, the family has practiced organic viticulture , and since 2019, the wines have carried the organic certification .
