Origin

The Berg Roseneck is one of the Rheingau's great steep slopes and is characterized by slate and quartzite soils. The exposed location provides for cool, wind-swept conditions and lends the wine precise minerality and enormous tension.

Vinification

The grapes are selectively hand-picked and spontaneously fermented. The wine is aged with minimal intervention in stainless steel and partly in wood with long lees contact.
