Origin

The Cuvée Weiss 2022 originates in Bechtolsheim, Rheinhessen – an area known for its limestone and loess-rich soils. The project is led by Esra Flick and Thorben Maurer, who bring international experience to pursue a modern, artisanal style.

Vinification

This cuvée of Kerner, Silvaner, Scheurebe, and Riesling was hand-picked, spontaneously fermented, and aged for around 10 months on its full lees. The wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered, which gives it its authentic, low-intervention character.

Aroma and Taste

The nose reveals lime, green apple, and floral notes, accompanied by a fine yeast spice. On the palate, the wine is juicy, clear, and structured, with fine tannins and lively, well-integrated acidity. The finish is fresh, invigorating, and mineral-driven.
