Alexander Schregel - The Discovery of the New Rheingau

A discovery in the Rheingau at the very highest level, with his second vintage in 2022, Alexander receives the award - Discovery of the Year / Rheingau - in the Vinum Magazine for his winery.

Working full-time at the Leitz Winery, he spends most of his time in the vineyards, ensuring optimal preparation. His philosophy encompasses the concept of vibrant wines with minimal sulfurization, working without fining agents, and biodynamic vineyard management.

His wines are distinguished by their drive, concentration, and a certain lightness. Back to the roots but with an eye toward the future.

With the predestined vineyard locations in Lorch Kapellenberg and Schlossberg as well as in Rüdesheim Bischofsberg and Berg Roseneck, top-quality wines are virtually pre-programmed and in capable hands.
