Origin:

The Terra Montosa Riesling 2023 is the quintessence of the Breuer winery's great steep slopes. The grapes come from the famous Rüdesheim mountain sites (Berg Rottland, Berg Roseneck, Berg Schlossberg), the Rauenthaler Nonnenberg (monopoly owned) and the Lorch Pfaffenwies , which has been part of the estate since 2019. Almost all of these sites are characterized by slate and quartzite soils , which give the wine its mineral tension and complexity. The name "Terra Montosa" - the steep earth - refers to its origins in the steepest and most demanding vineyards of the central Rheingau .
