Origin

La Dame de Montrose is the second wine of Château Montrose, one of the most renowned Deuxièmes Crus of the Médoc. The vineyards are located directly on the Gironde and benefit from a balancing microclimate. The wine represents a more accessible, fruit-driven interpretation of the Grand Vin.

Vinification

Selective hand harvesting and parcel-by-parcel vinification, followed by approx. 18 months of aging in French oak barrels with a moderate proportion of new wood. The focus is on elegance, balance and fruit.

Aroma and Taste

On the nose, ripe black fruits such as cassis and blackberry, complemented by spices, cedarwood and floral notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied, soft yet structured, with ripe tannins and juicy fruit. The finish is harmonious, long and elegant.
