Rheingau
One of the great homelands of Riesling.
Rheingau as a wine region
The Rheingau is considered one of Germany's most traditional wine regions and is closely linked to the history of Riesling. On the south-facing slopes above the Rhine, Rieslings of great clarity and long aging potential ripen. Around Assmannshausen, Pinot Noir also has a long tradition. Historic wineries and renowned vineyards characterize the region. At Florian Fine Wine, we present wines from the Rheingau that stand for quality and provenance.
Which wine from the Rheingau region goes well with which dish?
The Rieslings of the Rheingau are reliable companions at the table. A dry Riesling pairs very well with fish and light meats. The more mature, lusciously sweet wines, on the other hand, are best enjoyed with strong cheeses or dessert. In our wine descriptions, you will find suitable recommendations for each food pairing.
